Inspired by works like the movie Cars and Lightning McQueen, Lauryn Squyres' oil painting titled Forecast: 95 and a Chance of Storm.

I love the desert. Driving on desert highways always brings to mind the "Cars" movies: ever-changing skies, fantastic rock formations, wide-open country. It's no wonder Pixar and Disney used this breathtaking landscape as the inspiration for the setting of the town of Radiator Springs.

The painting "Forecast: 95 and a Chance of Storm" is a celebration of reaching a fun milestone...95k Instagram followers, not coincidently the number of a certain favorite race car of mine! Thank you to all of you who are following along on this incredible journey with me!


For the first time, I am offering a signed, numbered Limited Edition of this painting. Each 16x12 inch giclée-on-canvas over solid wood stretcher bars is mounted in a 20x16 inch solid wood frame, with kraft paper dust cover backing and hanging wire installed. This edition is limited to 95 pieces, each signed by me and numbered on the front, with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity included on the back.
